Still basking in the euphoria of his recent victory at the Election Tribunal where the petition challenging his election the APM candidate Hon.Abdulkadri Akinlade was thrown out, Governor Dapo Abiodun penultimate week held a victory Interdenominational  and political rally to celebrate the gallant victory where Evangelist Lanre Teriba aka Atorise join others in the celebration.

The occasion held inside the Hubert Ogunde hall of the June 12 Cultural Centre Kuto Abeokuta was agog when the Remo Ogun State born Atorise mounted the stage and dished out soulful, appreciating and prayerful gospel hit tracks that compelled everybody including the  Gov. Abiodun to their dancing feet. .      .                       .

Speaking at the occasion an elated Gov Abiodun described the judgement by the OgunState Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal as the triumph of rule of law, victory for Democracy and further validation of the mandate bestowed on him at the polls.

He therefore enjoined members of the opposition parties to negotiate their return to the APC for the 2023 Elections. “Opposition strengthens democracy and I appreciate the fact that he went to the tribunal to exercise his constitutional rights in contesting the mandate freely given to us by the masses at the polls “.The people have spoken and the Tribunal has validated their choice of me, anybody who feel otherwise should start preparing for 2023″says Gov Abiodun. Top dignitaries at the occasion include APC leaders from the three senatorial districts of Ogun state, traditional rulers and well-wishers drawn from within and outside the state.
