It is another victory for the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria as Ibrahim Said netted a hat-trick to secure another dramatic comeback win following a 3-2 win against Ecuador in Group B of this year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil on Tuesday.
Said becomes the first player to score a hat-trick at the tournament.
On Saturday, the Eaglets had to come from 2-1 down to beat Hungary 4-2 in their first group game.
With the Eaglets trailing 2-1 with five minutes left, Said drew his side level on 85 minutes before scoring the winner in the 89th minute.
He had opened scoring for the Eaglets in the 5th minute before goals an own goal by Daniel Jinadu (10th minute) and a penalty by Johan Mina, put Ecuador 2-1 ahead.
The Eaglets next game is against Australia on Friday, November 1.
