President Bola Tinubu has waded into the crisis rocking Rivers State occasioned by the political differences between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor and current FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike
The president was joined in the reconciliatory meetimg by Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The intervention of President Tunubu and the PDP governors however stopped the impeachment moves against Fubara.
This much was disclosed by the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, shortly after the Nigeria Police Council met for the first time under the Tinubu administration.
Both Wike and Fubara had attended the meeting which was held at the State House.
