Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State said Southwest governors are surreptitiously working to secure the release of Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho.
Sanwo Olu disclosed this on Saturday while fielding questions from newsmen after casting his votes at his polling unit 019, ward 09, Ikoyi on Saturday. He added that the Local Government poll in the state has been peaceful so far.
It would be called that Igboho was arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic last Monday while trying to board a plane to Germany.
Sanwo Olu said that the governors would not be able to come to the public to announce what they are doing on Igboho’s matter.
