After a sapping 120 minutes of football, Real Madrid once again defeated Atletico Madrid 5-3 0n penalties. The game ended 1-1 at extra time. Ronaldo scored the last penalty that gave Real Madrid an edge shortly after Juanfran penalty hit the bar.
Sergio Ramos opened scoring for Real in the 15minute with a close range finish. When Atletico Madrid fans thought Antoine Griezmann would level through a penalty, he missed it after Pepe fouled Fernados Torres in the box.
Yanvick Carrassic leveled for Atletico in the 79th minute.
Real who not won any trophy this season, it was a dream come true.
