Peoples Democratic Party Presidential aspirant and former governor of Anambra state, Mr. Peter Obi has finally bowed to pressure from groups that asked him to dump the Peoples Democratic Party,( PDP) for not zoning the presidency to the southern part of the country.
Mr Obi also withdrew from the Presidential primaries under the platform of the PDP.
He announced his resignation in a letter dated May 20, 2022 and addressed to the National Chairman of the PDP stating reasons for withdrawing from the presidential primaries.
