For those who believe in God and humanity, the right place to be on Saturday, November 25, 2023 is Walkem Event Centre, located at No 2, Ezeobi Street, Marcity Bus Stop, Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos as Pastor (Mrs) Chidi Anosike, founder of Tabitha Global Mission will host a conference and a Widows Banquet with the theme ‘Tabitha Arise, The Power of a Praying Mother’.
The event is scheduled to commence by 10am prompt.
Guest artists expected to perform at the event are Misiano Joel, Ehiliz, Retha Ritchie and Victor Jacobs and chairman of the planning committee is Nwachukwu Eze-Aja.
The highlights of the conference are prayers, worship, discussion/talks, ‘the making of a prudent wife’ ‘woman in the porters hands’, celebrating the widows and banquet.
While speaking to NATIONAL WAVES on what motivated her to organise the annual conference, Pastor Anosike stated that her passion to touch the lives of the widows and the needy culminated to organising the conference
“Tabitha Global Mission is a ministry that caters for the needs of the widows, orphans, fatherless, single parents and the less privileged. Initially I started it with the little resources at my disposal and from the support of people of like minds but today, we give glory to God for enlarging our coast” She said.
Pastor Anosike urged the Federal Government to ameliorate the suffering of the less privileged and widows. She also sought the support of other stakeholders to ensure that the mission do more
She said, ‘the Federal Government should please rise to the needs of its citizens. We have no other country than Nigeria. So they should have the poor in mind in all their budgets. It’s not easy with these widows and the needy”
When prodded to enumerate the challenges encountered in managing the affairs Tabitha Global Mission and how she was able to surmount same, Pastor Anosike said ” The challenge we have is basically funding but God has always come through for us because it is His work”
She stated further “Some other challenges also include not been able to attend to some personal needs of the widows, like some are quited from their houses and they will run to the commission for support, also their health and children school fees. We are not able to attend to all such needs because of limited funds”
Tabitha Global Mission was founded 11 years ago, precisely, 5th of May, 2012 by the pious and adorable Pastor Chidi Anosike. Its a non profit, non denominational, non governmental organisation committed to prayers, teaching and charitable work.
Tabitha Global Mission is aimed at Reaching the word with the world with Prayers, teaching the word and Charitable works and ever since the mission was set up, Pastor Anosike has not relented in touching the lives of less privileged.
