Oyedepo Condemns killing of innocent Nigerians by Fulani herdsmen

The founder and presiding Bishop of the Faith Tabernacle  Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, and Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners’ Chapel. Bishop David Oyedepo has condemned the recent killings of innocent Nigerians by the Fulani herdsmen.

Oyedepo who is widely perceived as  one of the pioneers of the Christian charismatic movement in Africa and has been referred to as one of the most powerful preachers in Nigeria condemned the dastardly act during today’s Sunday January 14, 2018 second service.

The eloquent preacher said that it was an act of injustice for the Fulani herdsmen to allow their cows destroy farms belonging to farmers and killed them afterwards for complaining of destroying their farms.

He added that “it is injustice for strangers to come and destroy your farm and claim ownership of your fatherland, just like the Yorubas are strangers in the North, the Fulani herdsmen are strangers in the West, East and North Central. This is an act of injustice no matter who is affected

He prayed that God should deal with those who are truncating the peace in the country. Nigeria will not go to war, he added.

He implored the congregation to pray to God to bring to an end the menace caused across the length and breadth of Nigeria by the Fulani herdsmen.
