NED NWOKO/SOWORE; COURT FIXES MARCH 16 FOR CRIMINAL DEFAMATION CASE

By Our Reporter

The Federal High Court in Abuja has fixed March 16, 2022 for the hearing of a case of criminal defamation brought against the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore by former member of the House of Representatives, Prince Ned Nwoko.

It would be recalled that Sowore was arrested and granted bail on February 24, following a petition of criminal defamation, injurious falsehood publication of news known to be false, against him.

His arrest followed a petition by Nwoko, through his lawyers, Trifold Law & Partners, against Sahara Reporters Foundation.
