A Nigerian woman has abandoned her baby at the People’s Hotel in Nasarawo neighborhood, Demsa in the Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
Sequel to this development, the Nigeria Police Force has launched a public appeal for assistance in locating the biological mother of the an infant.
The authorities are seeking the public’s help in tracing the whereabouts of the mother, who seemingly deserted her child at the hotel, leaving the innocent infant to fend for herself.
Spokesperson for the Adamawa State Police Command, SP Suleiman Nguroje on Wednesday urged the public to help the police with useful information on the fleeing mother.
“The Adamawa State Police Command is seeking collaboration to locate the family of a found child abandoned at the reception of People’s Hotel, Nasarawo Demsa.
“The child was abandoned by her mother with pretence to go and buy food for the little girl but did not return.
“Any useful information that will aid investigation to trace the child’s parents or relatives will be appreciated.”
