LP Candidate, Akpata, Loses Polling Unit To PDP’s Ighodalo In Edo Guber Election

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party in the Edo State governorship election, Olumide Akpata, has lost his polling unit to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Asue Ighodalo, as the result started to trickle in from the polling units.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are locked in a tight contest.

The polling units in Oredo Ward saw the APC and the PDP closely following each other while the Labour Party appears to be taking a distant third.

This is the result declared at Akpata’s polling unit. Location: PU11, Ward 06, Oredo LGA
