constitutional lawyer, Barrister Charles Uhegbu, has threatened to take the Authors of recent petitions against the newly appointed Accountant General of the Federation, Dr. (Mrs) Toyin Sakirat Madein to court in earnest especially if they don’t desist forthwith from their blackmail and shenanigans.
In a statement issued by a media consultant, Dr. SG Balogun in Abuja, he stated that a forensic scrutiny of the petitions have so far revealed that the Civil Society Organisations that were used as pawns in the propaganda: some are non-existent, some registered don’t file the annual accounts of their activities at CAC, while others are outside their mandates which contravene the objectives of their legality. In the same vein the authors of the fanthom petitions would have to prove case of bribery for appointment and stand charges on: defamation peddling and publishing of falsehood, perjury with the intent to malign, mislead constituted authority, and hoodwink the general public, creating chaos and upset in the public service.
Consequently, when the chips are down the masquerades that are their sponsors will be unveiled to face the full wrath of the law with convictions.
