The story emanating from Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State is quite interesting. It is about how Hauwa, wife of the late Taraba Governor, Danbaba Suntai tied the nuptial knot with her younger lover, Haliru Saad Malami, , aka San Turakin Malumfashi, the Chief Executive Officer, ITBAN Global Resources Ltd.
Hauwa’s hubby died two years ago as a result of plane crash. She is in her 50s while Malami, is believed to be in his 30s and said to be the cousin of Turai Yar’Adua, wife of late Nigeria’s President, Umaru Yar’Adua.
The two lovebirds first released their pre-wedding pictures before tying the knot in the Islamic way on Saturday.
It would be recalled that the former Taraba governor was involved in a plane crash in Yola in October 2012 and was flown abroad (Germany) for treatment.
He died on 28 June, 2017, in Houston, Texas, United States, after battling with the impact of the plane crash which rendered him unable to perform any function
