K1 De Ultimate, Kunle Olabode Anyalowo

Talented fuji musician, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has reacted to the allegations leveled against him by his lead drummer, Kunle Olabode Anyalowo, that he pauparized him and could not buy a car or house despite serving him for 32 years.
K1 said he was not not owing Anyalowo and not responsible for his predicaments.
K1 spoke to NATIONAL WAVES through his media aide, Kunle Rasheed. He said “Anyalowo’s submission does not hold water. Yes, he was with me as my lead drummer for 32 years, we had an agreement and I fulfilled my own part of the agreement by paying every kobo due to him. So let him tell the world what he did with his money. Im not responsible for his Predicaments”
Rasheed added that Anyalowo squandered all he got from K1 and should not hold K1 responsible for his failure.
“Anyalowo is spewing balderdash by accusing K1 wrongly. Let me tell you, he introduced Kamoru, a bata drummer to K1, today Kamoru has a house, a car and currently building a hotel. This is because he’s prudent with his wages. Ayanlowo was vague and equivocal in his allegations. Please ask him Is K1 owing him? so If K1 paid him regularly for 32 years and he could not account for his money, then that’s his problem”
On Ayanlowo’s allegation that K1 seized his passports, Rasheed stated that some of K1’s band members had absconded after performing at shows abroad and this affected K1’s relationship with some of the Embassies. He took the measure to stop them from absconding.
” You know it’s the norm for some of these band members to run away after performing at shows abroad, so Alhaji collects band members’ passports to stop them from running away”.
He also cleared the air on the allegation that K1 did not allow him to see his doctor while abroad, he said “someone came to pick Anyalowo without notifying Alhaji and he simply told him to alight from the car” said Rasheed.
