The entire yoruba movie entertainers are currently mourning the demise of one of thier own, Murphy Afolabi.
NATIONAL WAVES gathered that the Nollywood actor, producer, and director reportedly, died at the age of 49 in the early hours of today.
This much was revealed onTunde Ola Yusuf’s Instagram page.
Praying for his soul to rest in peace, he bade the actor farewell.
“We lost a strong Filmmaker Murphy Afolabi. May God rest your soul bro”.
Murhy who was said to have slipped in his bathroom, died before help could reach him.
His death is coming a week after he celebrated his birthday on May 5, 2023.
The movie star had expressed gratitude to God as he made a special request to him.
Murphy had asked God for blessings and grace and for the strength and courage to continue serving him faithfully.
“Dear God, on this day which is my birthday, I ask for your blessings and grace. May I have your strength and courage to continue to serve you faithfully. Murphy wrote.
Murphy was single until death came calling at 49. The actor reportedly dated many beautiful women.
