Gunmen have reportedly shot dead the Onikoro of Koro in Ekiti local government area of Kwara State, Oba Segun Aremu-Cole.
The gunmen invaded the palace of the monarch and shot sporadically until one of the bullets hit the monarch.
The gunmen later abducted the wife of the traditional ruler and two other persons.
