The presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has defeated the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State.
Atiku who won in 14 Local Government Areas with 554, 360 votes.
APC came second on the list with 399,293 votes, winning just two Local Government Areas out of the 23 LGAs in the state.
Labour Party which maintained third position secured 294,494 votes, winning seven LGAs. NNPP had 92, 969 votes.
Governor Nasir El Rufai is currently the Governor of Kaduna State under the platform of APC
