General Yakubu Gowon

Former Nigerian Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon has said he is alive and healthy.
Gowon spoke through his personal aide, Adeyeye E. Ajayi, who debunked rumours flying around social media that the former Head of State is not dead in a terse statement issued late Monday night.
Ajayi said Gowon is “still around and well.”
“General Gowon is not in a hurry to go anywhere.”
