The Peoples Democratic Party PDP convention where the presidential primary was held may have come and gone but the intrigues that culminated to the bemergence of Atiku Abubakar as the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate continue to linger in the memories of most Nigerians.
Atiku received the highest number of votes in the exercise which was held in Port Harcourt from Saturday to Sunday.
He scored 1,532 votes, while his closest rival, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, polled 693.
There were a total of 3,274 accredited delegates, with Datti Baba-Ahmed getting five votes and rooted to the bottom of the table.
