Wife of Bauchi State governor, Aishatu Mohammed

Social media influencers have continued to criticise Aishatu Mohammed, wife of Bauchi Governor, Bala Mohammed for empowering women in Futuk Community of Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State, with 10 packs of sachet water.
The First Lady also distributed pasta making machines, flour, N5000 given to about 250 women during the event which took place yesterday.
The items were said to be distributed under the First Lady’s pet project “Almuhibbah Foundation”.
In the pictures shared, the women were seen standing on queues to receive packs of sachet water placed on the floor.

Aninta Judith posted: ”This is the type of things we receive from the people whom we sold our dreams to. This is really shameful. Can you imagine this, as a First Lady of Bauchi State saving business empowerment programme.”
Reacting to the development, Chief Press Secretary to the First Lady, Murjanatu Maidawa, said the pure water pictures posted online were released by mischief makers to put her principal in bad light.
