The Rivers state government and Nigeria’s frontline engineering construction company, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, signed a road construction contract for the dualisation of the ever-busy Ahoada–Omoku road Phase 1 last Wednesday inside the State Exco Council Chambers, Port Harcourt.
The contract is sequel to the ongoing construction of other superbly engineered and very functional roads, flyover bridges and other infrastructures across Port Harcourt by Julius Berger.
The Rivers State governor at the signing ceremony recalled what he described as “the good work Julius Berger is doing about our infrastructures in the state,” adding that he expected no less high premium performance from the company which is generally acknowledged as the nations infrastructures development parnter of choice for any technically challenging projects, especially those of high priority across the country. The Governor also called on the communities on the project corridor and related stakeholders to maintain social harmony and cooperate with the contractors for project accomplishment as scheduled by the Government.
The Director of Finance of Julius Berger Nigeria PLC, Mr. Martins Brack who represented Julius Berger’s Managing Director, Engr.
