The duo are asking the court to determine if, “in view of the provisions of Section 177 (d) of the Constitution and the educational certificates and other documents attached to the PDP nomination form submitted by Mr Oborevwori, he is qualified to be nominated as gubernatorial candidate of the party.”
In a related development, another case was filed in Asaba, Delta State, The Delta suit before a Federal High Court in Asaba is numbered FHC/ASB/CS/78/2022. It has Mr. Ojei Victor Obianuju, Maize and Associates Farmers as plaintiff, while Sheriff Oborevwori Francis, PDP, and INEC are the defendants.
