No fewer than five persons reportedly feared dead on Friday night after a gas plant went aflame in Agbor, the headquarters of Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Fired razed through the gas plant and the fire affected several buildings and leaving many persons with serious injuries.
As at the time of filling the report, the source of the fire was yet to be known but a source said firefighters were at the scene making frantic effort to put off the fire so as to save lives and property of persons living around the gas plant.
“The explosion left several persons dead from various degrees of burn and others badly injured.
“The explosion erupted from Osadebe Gas plant along the expressway, close to Eye Clinic Agbor, Delta State, but we are yet to know the cause of the fire,” the source said
