Popular social media Facebook and instagram have been shut down.
NATIONAL WAVES investigations revealed that users of Instagram and Facebook accounts could not log in and operate the two social media platforms.
While Facebook requires existing users to login to their accounts, Instagram account profiles of users and homepage could not be refreshed.
This resulted in users of the social interaction platforms going on X to lament the shutdown of the services.
