…Hair Shaved and Sacrificed To Hindi gods In India
A video trending online revealed that human hair after being shaved were sacrificed to Hindi gods in India before being processed in the factory into human hair wigs.
NATIONAL WAVES gathered that Hindus thronged to the temple once their hair are due for shaving (mostly on Saturday) to shave and donate their hair to the gods in Southern Indian.
They believe shaving and donating of their hair to the gods will heal them and their loved one of strange ailments and they eagerly await the rituals of shaving their hair.
In the video, a woman said her daughter was sick and the ailment defied conventional medicine but her daughter recovered immediately her hair was shaved and donated to the gods.
These hair were later sold to businessmen who processed same into hunan hair wigs and export same to other countries.
Sources revealed that the Hindi temple realised the sum of one million dollars ($1million) annually from the sales of the hair.
A Nigerian man, who craved for anonymity adviced women to stop wearing these so-called human hair wigs that have been used as sacrifices to the gods in foreign lands.
He said “There are consequences of wearing human hair wigs and carrying burden of unknown sacrificial offerings to idols”
He added that it could lead to unknown bondage and problems.
