The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the re-arrest of Sunday Shodipe, the prime suspect in the series of ritual killings at the Akinyele Local government Area of Oyo State.
Thecommand confirmed this through the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi.
It will be recalled that the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, dispatched crack detectives to track down the fleeing serial killer.
The suspect had escaped from police custody in suspicious circumstances.
