It was double celebration for the management and staff of Nigeria’s leading broadcast engineering equipment company, Pinnacle Communications Limited, as the top-notch company was awarded with two honours penultimate week in New York and Washington DC, USA respectively.
Pinnacle was bestowed with the Company of the year 2017 and Excellence in Digital Broadcasting Services awards by America-based media outfits, Pointblanknews.com and Africa Mirror Newspaper.
According to the organisers of both awards, Pinnacle Communications was honoured on account of its unprecedented pivotal role in the digital switchover (DSO) from analogue to Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) in Nigeria.
The organisers added that apart from being one of the major stakeholders in the analogue to digital process in the country, Pinnacle was honoured on account of its breath-taking and well-equipped Pinnacle Broadcast Centre, Mpape, Abuja.
The chairman/CEO of Pinnacle Communications Limited, Sir Lucky Omoluwa, whose sphinx-like quality got him unsolicited local and international awards and who is also reputed for his humane posture which is universal with no religious, tribal or any other primordial boundaries, thanked the organisers for honouring Pinnacle with the awards.
