Scene of the Ikoyi building collapse

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed that death toll from the collapsed high-rise building on Gerrard road in Ikoyi, Lagos has increased to 38.
Acting Coordinator of the Lagos Territorial Office of the NEMA, Mr Ibrahim Farinloye earlier on Thursday morning told journalists that 36 people have so far died from the incident. He added that, two more bodies were recovered from the rubbles ten minutes later, increasing the death toll to 38.
The survivors include one female and eight male
