Danger in Lagos, as COVID-19 surpasses 4,000 cases

Most Lagosians now live in palpable fear, as the cases of coronavirus have been on the rise. As at the time of filling this report, the cases had gone above 4000.

Going by the  figures released by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Wednesday, Lagos has recorded 4,012 Coronavirus cases and this is currently sending shivers down the spines of residents.

Lagos hit another height with 256 new cases of the virus on Wednesday. 87 patients were reportedly discharged by the State the same day.

This brings the total number of discharged patients to 825. The State has also recorded 47 deaths as a result of the the virus.
