Some customers of the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) have taken a swipe at the bank for their inability to log on to the bank’s online service.
One of the GTB’s account holders, Mrs Olubisi Shade, shared her experience with NATIONAL WAVES, she said that her daughter was stranded and could not return home from school to celebrate Christmas with her family on account of her inability to transfer money to her through the GTB online service.
“This is worrisome, throughout the day, I tried to transfer money to my daughter who’s in school but could not. Now my daughter is stranded” said Mrs. Olubisi.
Another customer, Mr. Rotimi Durojaiye, took to social media to register his displeasure over GTB’s online comatose service
Mr. Durojaiye wrote on his Facebook wall “GTB, your online service today is annoying. Is this how to grow?.
His submission generated a lot of comments as Facebook users lambasted GTB for the messy online service.
A furious Mr. Durojaiye asked “GTB, why can’t l log onto my account for over 10 hours? This is not the GTB l used to know”
Mr Durojaiye’s submission attracted comments from Facebook users, Eniolawun Olajide wrote “Hummmn! Beginning of cashless society”
Adejoke Alabi Durojaiye wrote, “Their network this day is terrible and annoying”
Femi Taiwo who seemed to be apologising on behalf of GTB wrote in Yoruba “Sorry Sir.
E maa binu si wa Sir”
