For popular Kayamata merchant, Hauwa Muhammed aka Jaruma, these are indeed unpleasant moments. This is because she would be cooling her heels in prison custody in the next few days on account of a petition by Regina Daniel and her billionaire husband, Prince Ned Nwoko.

NATIONAL WAVES gathered that Jaruma was remanded at the Suleja Correctional Centre by an Abuja Upper Area Court after she was arraigned by the police for alleged false news publication, intimidation and defamation of character.

It was further reported that she pleaded not guilty and her lawyer made an oral application for bail.

Justice Abdullahi also fixed February 23, 2022 for trial resumption.

Jaruma was arrested on January 21, 2022 after she alleged that Regina used her products to ‘grab’ Ned Nwoko, a claim the latter refuted
