Civil Groups Raises Alarm Over Serial Stalker, Sextortionist

A civil society group, Peoples Alliance for Integrity and Accountability, PAIA, has raised the alarm over alleged stalking and sextortion by a lady simply known as Destine Destine, (not real names) urging security agencies to act swiftly.

In a briefing in Abuja on Thursday, the group alleged that Destine Destine was a habitual stalker and extorting men of means by claims of rape and sexual abuse.

Speaking for the PAIA, Oscar Ebri, claimed that the briefing had become necessary in view of the several complaints by some victims of the accused.

“After exhaustive follow ups and effort for the said Destine Destine to state her side of the story over the several allegations, she was not forthcoming and has also refused to go to the authorities.

“We learnt from our findings that she claims to be from Rivers, Kaduna or any state that suits her fancy at the material time.

“Owing to her shady character and unstable nature, she was allegedly rusticated from one of the top rated universities up north squealed a dependable source.

“She is at present in Abuja where she is on rampage luring men into her ring to extort and blackmail them for huge sums.

“We are aware that this has become imperative to sustain her lifestyle of drugs and fast lifestyle.”

Ebri said given the stature of some of his victims, they were yet to contact the authorities but remain hopeful that action will be taken.

The group spokesman noted that sextortion has become a global epidemic with dire repercussions and Nigeria needs to brace up to deal with the rising vice.
