Abimbola Ogunbanjo

The former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), Abimbola Ogunbanjo, was one of the six passengers on onboard the ill-fated Eurocopter EC130 helicopter which crashed in California, near the Nevada border, Ogunbanjo reportedly died in the crash.
Abimbola is the son of Chief Christopher Oladipo Ogunbanjo, a foremost corporate lawyer, industrialist and philanthropist who died on Saturday, October 7, 2023, two months to his 100th birthday.
The helicopter, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), crashed around 10 pm.
According to NBC report, the helicopter is registered to a Burbank-based tour company called Orbic Air.
This is the second accident in California under a week after a Navy helicopter carrying five marines crashed on Tuesday night during a storm, killing all.
Others who died in the crash are the chairman of Access Bank (UK) Limited and Unified Payments Services Limited,
Herbert Wigwe, his wife and son.
