Chairman of Pinnacle Communications Limited, Sir Lucky Omoluwa, who was recently honoured by the United States Congress with the Business Titan award in Washington D. C, USA, has added another feather to his cap.
This time, he was bestowed with the Good Governance and Integrity Award by the Centre for Transparency in Nigeria. According to the organizer, this is in recognition of his landmark achievement as an apostle of corruption free society and transparency leadership style.
The ceremony took place penultimate Friday at Reiz Continental Hotel, Abuja.
According to the Director General of the Centre for Transparency in Nigeria (CTN), Barrister E. A Ogbeide, the event was organized to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the CTN and recognize distinguished Nigerians who maintain high integrity, transparency and exemplified themselves in their chosen career. He added that the award will encourage Sir Omoluwa to do more.
This prestigious honour that was conferred on Sir Omoluwa did not just come by a stroke of luck; the success story is attributed to his dint for hardwork, perseverance, dedication and doggedness.
For this debonair bloke, there cannot be a more auspicious time to offer praise to God for his infinite mercy and abundant grace than now. His ascendance to the peak of his business career cannot be laid at the doorsteps of any mortal being. There is something inspiring about this astute businessman. He is emphatic and scornful of vile and this makes him the butt of envy.
It is not out of place to say Omoluwa is a trail blazer, realist and optimist. He is a quintessential tycoon who betrays no inhibition to be socio-economically vibrant nor does his exploits in broadcast communication smack of incapacity of any kind; this explains why he was recently recognized by Signis-Nigeria.
In spite of being famous and influential, the Delta State born Golf buff hardly flaunts his ego, he is one man who dedicates his time to his business and often time hibernates and sequesters from social scenes.
Unknown to many, Sir Lucky Omoluwa is a Papal Knight of St. Sylvester. He is also the Chairman/CEO Pinnacle Investments Ltd; The Centagon International School Ltd and Tarmac Works Ltd.
He is a dedicated volunteer in the area of philanthropy. He donates his financial resources to make a difference in the lives of the blind, widow, disabled children and orphans as well as the quality of life in whatever community he is found. He has also generously supported education at all levels and this culminated in his setting up the Centagon International School, Abuja.
As Chairman of Pinnacle Communication Ltd, he brought a positive revolution to the broadcast engineering industry in Nigeria whilst representing Harris Corporation, the largest manufacturers of Radio and Television transmitters in the World. Pinnacle Communications also recently won a carrier licence, Broadcasting Signal Distribution (BSD), made available by the Federal Government for transition from analogue to digital broadcasting.
Sir Omoluwa vigorously promotes the game of Golf in Nigeria through an annual sponsorship of amateur and professional competitions all over Nigeria.
This suave businessman has received several awards including the Good Business Ethics from Harris Corporation, USA, Outstanding Commitment to Business by Harris Corporation, USA, Support of Trade Development by US government, Catholic Men Organization of Nigeria- Award of Excellence for the Act of Support to the Church, Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON) National Award of Excellence for Outstanding Support and Contribution to Catholic Youth and the Dr Kwame Nkrumah outstanding Merit Award in recognition of outstanding contribution and achievements as a businessman in the field of Communications in Accra, Ghana, 2011.
