Chairman Elect, Jaba Local Government, Philips Gwandah

Following the conflicting results of the just concluded Local Government Council polls, in Jaba Local Government Area, the people in one voice have chosen to put away their differences and promote what unites them rather than what divides them.
This was the position reached on Friday when officials of the Christian Association of Nigeria and Jama’atul Nasir Islam in Jaba Local Government Area paid a courtesy call on the Kpop Ham at his Palace in Kwoi, headquaters of the Local Government.
Speaking during the visit, the leader of the delegation and Convener of Pastor’s forum in the Local Government, Rev. Excellence Musa Kuryas, lamented that the outcome of the just concluded local government elections in the area gave birth to an unusual situation, which he noted might affect the peaceful coexistence of the people.
He appealed to KAD-SIECOM to allow only the wish of the people of Jaba Local Government prevail by issuing the true winner at the polls with certificate of return for peace to reign.
Responding, the K-pop Ham Gyet Maunde, commended the Leadership of both CAN and JNI for the leading role the took in other unite Political actors in the land, for them to first realize that they are Ham People and brothers to each other before politics.
He pointed out that as the custodian of the customs and traditions of Ham land, he will continue to caution all to do things that will promote the unity and peaceful coexistence of the development of the land.
In a remark, the JNI chairman Jaba Local Government, Mallam Abubakar Muhammed appealed to the people to remain calm and not to panic even as he called on politicians trying to cause problems in the land because of their desperate ambition, to restrain in the interest of the people who have clearly shown through the ballot who they want.
Also speaking, the CAN Vice Chairman in the Local Government, Rev. Emmanuel Adamu Doyaro, applauded the Kpop Ham for opening his door to the people each time they run to him.
