Nigeria’s president-elect, Ahmed Bola Tinubu has returned to the country after a nine-day working visit to Europe.
Recall that Tinubu met with Rabiu Kwankwaso, presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), who might join his cabinet when he takes office.
The president-elect, who spent about 10 days in Europe, was received at the Abuja airport by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Kashim Shettima, vice-president-elect, Godswill Akpabio, a former minister of Niger Delta affairs, and Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of Kano, among others.
Tinubu is expected to assume office on May 29 when the second term of President Muhammadu Buhari elapses.
