Bayern Munich have handed Sadio Mane huge fine of £260,000 for punching his teammate, Leroy Sane during a furious confrontation last week.
The club is now keen to sell the Senegal international striker in the summer.
Daily Mail reports that things became heated between the pair after the German side 3 – 0 defeat to Manchester City on Tuesday in a UEFA Champions League quarter-final match at Etihad Stadium, London.
Mane had lashed out at Sane in the dressing room, forcing other members of the squad to step in.
Leroy Sane was left with a bruised lip after the incident, while Mane was dropped from the squad for Bayern’s Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim on Saturday and docked to pat a fine from his £17m – a year wages.
The size of Mane’s punishment has now been revealed, with Bayern handing out the highest fine in the club history.
