Barring any last hiccups, the scarcity of Naira notes will be a thing of the past as the Central Bank of Nigeria has directed the deposit banks to retrieve the old Naira notes from its vault.
The commercial banks are expected to retrieve deposited old notes from CBN today
According to information made available to NATIONAL WAVES by a dependable CBN source, deposit banks have received directives to pick up old naira notes in large quantity from the Central Bank of Nigeria, 22nd March, 2023.
Following the directive, scarcity of cash is due to become a thing of past , as the public space is expected to be awash with naira notes before the end of the week.
