The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has described the just concluded presidential election as the worst conducted elections since the return to democratic rule.
He added that manipulation and fraud that attended the election was unprecedented in the history of Nigeria.
He stated this on Thursday during a press conference in reaction to the outcome of the election won by the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Tinubu.
It would be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission had announced Atiku as first runner up and his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi as the second runner up.
Atiku, who enumerated his political trajectory dating back decades, expressed sadness that the INEC ruined an otherwise laudable legacy by President Muhammadu Buhari who had vowed to ensure a free and fair election at the end of his eight year tenure.
