Asue Ighodalo has been declared the winner of the Edo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Edo PDP Primary Electoral Committee, Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State on Thursday,
Lawal said that Ighodalo defeated about nine other aspirants including the Deputy Governor of the state, Philip Shaibu, in the poll.
The primary election was held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in the Edo State capital with Ighodalo polling 577 votes.
