Come August 9, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola will be dislodged by the electorates from Bola Ige house.
“The Scale on the people’s eyes has fallen off, they can see clearer now, that Aregbesola’s government is sailing without a compass. In the forth coming elections Iyiola Omisore will poll over 80% of the total votes. Ogbeni’s government couldn’t commission any project for three and half years, only to start running helter – skelter now that the day of reckoning is near. All the major roads have been collapsed simultaneously, making them impassable. The civil servants are groaning, all the tertiary institutions have closed indefinitely” said Mr. S.G Balogun, President, Osun Promise Keepers.
He added that the so called computer tablet Opon-Imo is a fluke with 80% of the pupils not having access to it. Most contractors executing projects in the state are despaired and frustrated, being owed huge contract sums.
“Aregbesola has plunged the state into debts, siphoned the chunk of the state resources in pursuit of personal ambition. There was the N60b bond he took still being investigated by the EFCC, another $117 m requested from a bank in Cyprus, for similar projects already listed in the bond. The consensus is that we have reached the eclipse of fraudulent governance in the state and there must be a change” he concluded
