Following the directive by the Federal Government that Consumers of Electricity be Metered, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC has facilitated the distribution of meter to unmetered Customers to enhance accurate and fair billing.
According to a statement by the management of AEDC, the action will put to rest continued complaints by consumers of electricity over arbitrary charges under Estimated Billing.
AEDC is also addressing some of the challenges responsible for poor supply of electricity to Nigerians particularly, boosting power supply for those within the company’s catchment area.
The management said AEDC will continue to ensure effective service delivery to Consumers of Electricity, there should be synergy amongst all Stakeholders to provide sustainable Energy for Domestic and Industrial use towards growing the nation’s Economy.
