Late Edo APC leader, Sir John Oshiomah

A former Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has expressed shock and sadness over the death of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC, in Edo State, Sir John Oshiomah.
Agba, in a condolence message sent to the APC in Weppa-Wano ward where the late Oshiomah was a committed party leader, said his death was a huge setback to the party in the state.
In the message dated June 10, 2023, which was addressed to the All Progressives Congress
Weppa-Wano, Edo State, the Ofewovsi of Uneme land and the Oduma of Auchi Sacred Kingdom, said Oshiomah died at a time his wealth of experience was most needed by the party.
According to him: “I received with a heavy heart the news of the death of our party leader in Weppa-Wano, Sir John Oshiomah.
“His death at this time when all hands are on deck to consolidate on the successes of our great party in the recent general elections in Edo State, is a huge setback.
“We will sorely miss him, his wealth of experience and leadership prowess, which are most needed to accomplish the process of party consolidation.
“Without a doubt, the death of Sir John Oshiomah is a great loss to our party, the Weppa-Wano community, and his immediate family members.
“I pray for the repose of his soul in the bosom of his Maker, and I urge those of us who are around to continue the good work for which Sir John Oshiomah dedicated his life and times.
“May his gentle soul Rest In Peace. AMEN!”
