Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike as the Chairman of Edo State Governorship Election National Campaign Council.
The deputy chairman is Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Fintri.
The Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki emerged as the PDP flag bearer and is expected to slug it out with his APC counterpart,Osagie Ize Iyamu on September 19, 2020
