The Deputy National Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Victor Giadom, has taken over as the Acting National Chairman of the party.
Giadom explained that he took over based on an earlier court order that pronounced him the acting chairman of the party. He added that he enjoined the support of the NWC to take over in acting capacity.
This is after the National Working Committee late Tuesday night in a statement said that the Deputy National Chairman and former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has been appointed the Acting National Chairman after the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole was upheld by the Court of Appeal
In a related development, the new acting chairman has cancelled the Edo governorship primary screening that disqualifies Governor Godwin Obaseki
