Glo introduces Sunday Data Plan … Customers to enjoy 1.25GB data for N200

By Our Reporter

In order to enable Nigerians to meet their data demand at this period of stay-at-home in almost all parts of the country, occasioned by the need to curtail the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic, Globacom, has introduced a unique data plan which gives its subscribers more access to the internet on Sundays.

Called the Sunday Data plan, the offering gives subscribers 1.25GB for just N200 worth of data on Sunday to chat, browse, stream and connect with loved ones, community, clubs and society meetings. The plan is for 24 hours.

A statement from Globacom said the plan empowers them with more data to make their Sundays more pleasurable as they perform their normal private and business engagements through the net especially at this period of restriction of movements.

Customers interested in choosing the Sunday Data Plan are enjoined to dial *777# and go to “Night and Weekend” tab or visit http://hsi.glo.com and follow the instructions.

With the company’s nationwide 4G services backed by the powerful Glo1 undersea cable, Globacom is in good stead to provide reliable, high quality and efficient telecommunication services to Nigerians.

“COVID-19 is creating havoc across the world. It is also forcing people to stay indoors. Working from home across industries is now becoming prevalent and Globacom, as a responsible telecom operator, continues to ensure quality network experience for its customers across the country especially as the people are forced to work from home,” the statement added.

As part of its own response to ensure the safety of Nigerians while the pandemic lasts, the company advised all to take measures to ensure their safety in line with the guidelines provided by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the World Health Organisation (WHO). These include regular hand washing and use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers, limiting non-essential travel and ensuring timely medical checkups.

“Our primary focus at Globacom is to ensure that all Nigerians remain safe to support their families and the economy. We urge everyone to stay aware of updated practices and strategies to combat Coronavirus. These are trying times. However, we are confident we will overcome. Stay connected, safety for all”, the statement assured.
