The First Lady of Kaduna State, Hadiza Isma El-Rufai, has solicited prayers fr
om Nigerians for her husband, Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who announced on Saturday that he had tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Hadiza solicited the prayers moments after her husband posted a video on Twitter to announce his status.
She said in a tweet: “Dear Tweeps, My husband. the governor of Kaduna State, has tested positive for COVID-19. Please keep us in your prayers.”
Governor El-Rufai, who had put measures in place to prevent the spread of Coronavirus into Kaduna, became the first recorded case of the virus in the state.
