Former Taraba Governor, Ishaku, Spends First Night In EFCC Cell Over N27bn Fraud

Former Governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku, who was arrested by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday over alleged N27 billion fraud has spent his first night in the cell of the anti-graft agency.

Ishaku, who served as Taraba State Governor between 2015 and 2023, was arrested at his residence in Abuja on Friday, September 27, 2024.

The arrest of the former governor was confirmed by the spokesperson for the anti-graft agency, Dele Oyewale, on Friday.
