Abdullahi Ganduje, Rabiu Kwankwaso
By Abdullahi Abubakar
The squabble between the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, and the national leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Senator Musa Kwankwaso, has taken a dramatic turn as the two politicians have taken it to another level.
Ganduje and Kwakwanso snubbed eachother when they met at the wedding of Laila, daughter of the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar in Abuja.
The wedding between Laila and Saleh Maitala, son of the immediate past minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, was held at the National Mosque on Friday.
The wedding comes two days after Atiku received a delegation led by former Kaduna State governor, Nasiru El-Rufai, who came to formally request the hand of his daughter in marriage.
Political bigwigs converge on the National Mosque to attend the matrimony.

In attendance were ex-Head of State, Abdulasami Abubakar; former governors Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Murtala Nyako (Adamawa), Ali Modu Sheriff (Borno), Ibrahim Shekarau (Kano) and Adamu Muazu (Bauchi).
Others include the acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Umar Damagum; the senator representing Bauchi Central, Abdul Ningi; Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Col. Buba Marwa (retd.), among others.
The high point of the event was when both Ganduje and Kwankwaso spotted each other and immediately looked away.
Although they observed prayer squatting close to each other but ensured there were no eye contacts.
They were sandwiched in-between the trio of Marwa, Abdulasami and Sheriff.
