Barring any unforseen circumstances, astute businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Nasiru Danu, will be turbaned as the Sardaunan Dutse by the highly revered Emir of Dutse, Muhammad Hamim Sanusi.
The ceremony comes up on April 18, 2024, at the uphill Emir’s palace in Garu, Dutse.
The sleepy town of Dutse will be in a frenzy as notable businessmen and politicians are expected to attend the classy event.
According to NATIONAL WAVES findings, immediate past President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour while the Governor of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi, will be the Guest of Honour.
NATIONAL WAVES gathered that Danu was nominated by the Dutse Emirates Council following the demise of the title holder, former Minister of Commerce, Bello Maitama, last October.
Accepting the title, Alhaji Danu, through the ‘Wazirin Dutse’, Bashir Dalhatu, thanked the emir and his council members for nominating him for exalted title.
Danu’s team recently embarked on thank-you visit to the Emir’s palace.
Until his elevation to the title of Sardauna and Kingmaker for Dutse Emirate, Danu held the title of ‘Dan Amanar Dutse’ conferred on him by the late Emir, Nuhu Muhammad-Sanusi, on 4 May 2017.
